Tai and I have made a vow to eachother recently that this year we will turn off the t.v. on the weekends and go do things... I don't think life was intended to be lived vicariously through the Real Housewives of Orange County. Now don't get me wrong, I will still indulge in my show's from time to time. I just noticed a pattern of watching life happen on the t.v. instead of getting out there and making life happen!!! I mean if I were a character in a book or on a t.v. show would you be interested in my life sitting on fb or watching tv on my couch, you would think I was a really boring and lame. And you would be 100% right!
This weekend was fun! We went and bought Joya a bike seat and a helmet, attached it to Tai's cruiser and we enjoyed the beautiful weather!! I know it's nothing too exciting, but it was a step in the right direction for us and our new goal! She had so much fun on her first bike ride, she was grinning from ear to ear and was yelling "Go mommy Go!" (I guess she thought I was a little slow or something?) needless to say, she was in heaven. Life is so much more fun w/ Joya! She gets a kick out of everything! I wish I was as excited about anything as much as Joya was excited about her first bike ride! SO cute!
I am sad to report that we could not find our camera to take pictures! We will def. get some taken one way or another baby J was way too cute in her princess helmet to not have pictures! Hope you guys enjoy what's left of your weekend!
Xoxo

How fun! What a great resolution to have
ReplyDeleteThat is SOOOO Awesome!! It is wonderful to live in a place where bike rides and jaunts to the park are possible all year long! I am sooo happy you had that great conversation and acted on it! I wish I was more of a snow person and was athletic, I could get on that mountain on a Saturday. But alas, I just like to be warm. Hahaha. Great entry - keep it up! I will join you soon!
